This car maker revealed it will display all six limited series models for the first time on August 15 at “The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering” and on August 17 at the “Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance”. Dedicated to Ettore Bugatti, founder and patron of the brand, the sixth Legend model takes design cues from the historical model Type 41 Royale, the most powerful and luxurious car of its time.

Furthermore, the design of the “Ettore Bugatti” Legend is based on a 1932 Type 41 Royale with the chassis number 41111 which sports a “yin-yang” color split. The front part is made of hand-polished aluminum and finished with a clear coating, with clear-coated aluminum also used for the entire front and side panels. The vehicle’s rear, sill panels and A-pillar trims are finished with dark-blue exposed carbon of course.

And the polished, diamond-cut wheel rims were specially developed for this vehicle, while the Bugatti horseshoe and the EB logo at the rear are made of platinum. Ettore Bugatti’s signature is engraved into the tank and oil cap and painted in silver.

How about the interior? The model features two types of leather for the first time: traditional calf’s leather in a natural brown (Brun Cavalier) for most of the cabin combined with a natural cordovan leather for the parts typically touched by hand. The exterior’s blue exposed carbon is also present on the door trims and cover of the rear center box, while the platinum-coated dancing elephant reminds of the hood ornament of the Type 41 Royale.

We also know that with previous Legend models, the “Ettore Bugatti” is based on the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse that means it’s powered by a 1,200PS (1,184hp) 8-liter W16 engine which produces 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque. Able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.6 seconds, the Vitesse has a maximum speed of 408.84 km/h (254 mph) with the roof down, gaining it the title of the world’s fastest production roadster ever built.

How about the prices? Only three Ettore Bugatti Legend models will be built, each priced at €2.35 million ($3.14 million) net. Do you want to get one?
